The final walk through of the property takes place before the closing to ensure that all issues have been taken care of and the property is “broom clean” and thoroughly vacated. At the closing you will sign all the paperwork needed to transfer the property and receive payment for the house minus a payoff of any existing mortgage and other transaction costs.
